GMU 400's, skagit county region

Any one know if there are any good spots in this region, public land areas, any herds seen in this area.  I'm up in the everett, mount baker region, trying to find some good areas around here, thanks mickey

Have you read the regs in terms of open game units?  Assuming modern (since early archery is past and muzzy is upon us already) only 407, 448, 454, & 460 would even be an over the counter tag options, just an FYI.

Yes looking at modern firearm starting from nov 6 thru the 16, yes those are the areas i was looking407, 448, 460 and 466 was wondering if any one is familar with these areas and any good spots for elk.  I also know too the 407 is also popular spot list for deer and cougar and i think bear.  thanks for the info!!

I've seen alot of elk on Ebbey Island.

EBEY ISLAND??!!! no way the area between snohomish and lake stevens and everett, THAT ebey island, no way could something like the size of an elk could live there! Are you serious!!??

I think 460 has some elk but the numbers are not good

460 definitely does, I did some radio collar tracking of the cows for volunteer work, but I don't have any clue about the bulls habits and if they coincide with public land, etc. never really looked into it.

Sorry couldn't resist. I'd stick to 460 for elk few and far between I wouldn't get to far in .theres a few real good bulls there if the cars don't get them first.
