My kids live in Pullman and I will be down there quite a bit this spring (April) was wondering if anybody can recommend some fishing near there.

Fletch,
Sorry for such a late post...  I lived in Pulltab for 5+ years.  Go down to Wawawai for Bass, Spring Steelies, and Bow shooting for Carp.. You can also catch a crap load of Squawfish (bounty on them.)  Below the dam near Boyer Park, you can catch huge catfish if you have a sturdy enough pole.  Tons of fish, even from the bank.
Introduce someone new to hunting this year.

With kids...Spring Valley Reservoir hands down.  Great for kids.  Only about 10 miles from Pullman.

popes, it's probably been a while since you were at Spring Valley. It's in Idaho just out side of Troy, still only about 20 miles out of Pullman. You are correct. It is a great place to fish.

Yeah, it has been a while.  I can still remember driving out there every day after law school got out with my buddies and flyfishing with a case of Busch Lights.  Ah, those were the days...

By the way, they had some tiger muskies in there or something, would give you a real jolt if you weren't prepared for them...
