It's probably about 6' deep of muck and sludge. Most areas are probably only about 3' from water surface to muck/goo/slime. Rocky is in Ephrata / Moses Lake. Fun spot. Usually, very tough fly fishing. Not a great place to learn but, fun to watch huge fish sit like a healing dog right next to your feet. They know you're there and just will lay in water right next to you. They pretty much ignore anything you put in front of them unless it is exactly what they are eating. I like fishing the moving water areas most but, some folks fish the slow/still water and do well. I'm not all that patient when I see them cruising around. Rocky is best on a sunny, winter day with snow on the ground. Only my opinion because I'm usually all alone!
The fish are as particular as the game wardens. I like snow on the ground too....less chance of stepping on a buzz worm
