Back Out To NE Today
« on: October 08, 2010, 05:11:23 PM »
and I got fairly drenched. Could not see further than 50 yards due to fog. Since it had been raining pretty hard lately, the slate was clean. Saw a big bull Moose right offf the bat and he was lonesome judging by his constant calling. Lots and lots of sign of moose, deer and some elk. Finally gave up around noon and came home.

I wanted to head over for a day of moose, but I am sick of the fog.  Go figure.

I was looking for Elk. The bull moose was a nice surprise though. Sign looked better than last week. I just wish I could have seen better.

I like the NE elk, a little tough to find at times.  What do you mean by NE, nothing exact just curious on a general city or GMU?
