Peola November Whitetail Doe Hunt
« on: October 09, 2010, 10:09:32 AM »
Myself and 2 friends drew a late whitetail doe hunt for the Peola unit this year.  I know of a few limited public areas that we can hunt. It would be nice to have some options.  I am hoping someone on here knows or is someone that has winter wheat planted and wants the doe's thinned out.
Thanks in advance for any help.

Drive over there, find some "Hunt By Written Permission" signs, stop, get the phone number and name off of the sign and call them. I think you'll find most will likely say it's ok to hunt especially for that season. Just a hunch.
I drew one too but am not sure if I am going to buy it.  :dunno:
I got another tag that is a priority to me over the doe tag and I don't have time for both.

Thats a good idea too.  Hopefully you are right about the williness to give permission.  I did a late whitetail doe hunt around Pullman a couple of times and most of the farmers I talked to about that hunt wanted me to harvest as many as I could.  No one turned me down on that hunt.

I suspect you won't have a problem.
