new to the area

i know this is a vague question,. but does anyone have some recommendations for me. this is my first year going out deer hunting in washington and would like to know were a good spot to go is. i live in Tacoma and am willing to drive as far as an hour or two to get to a decent public hunting spot. with college and work Ive been very busy and have not had the time i would like to go out and scout. any help would be greatly appreciated.
