It's a dirty job but somebody's got to do it.

I can honestly say I would walk away from that buck on day 1 or 2

" In today's instant gratification society, more and more pressure revolves around success and the measurement of one's prowess as a hunter by inches on a score chart or field photos produced on social media. Don't fall into the trap. Hunting is-and always will be- about the hunt, the adventure, the views, and time spent with close friends and family. " Ryan Hatfield

There is no way I would pass on that buck, searching for a better one, unless I was doing some sort of late season special hunt...and even then...

Hes a solid 155 deer.  He is short 5 inches a side on his mains. Add eyeguards, a nice 170.   I have a wall full of them.  I love them.

Every day of general season I'd kill him. Late permit, maybe last day. He needs to grow some, but he is pretty. I'm a sucker for mule deer in their winter coat, standing in the snow.

That smokes anything I have tagged so far, yet does do not have antlers.

Actually it appeared to be several walls...... :chuckle:Yep, he'd be hitting the ground general season for sure here in Washington.
I didn't say it was your fault, I said I was blaming you.

There's a reason they call it hunting, not killing.

Maybe I'm just not a good hunter, but I've never seen a buck like that in Washington (I'm a blackie hunter, though).  I'd pull the trigger in a second!

I can't believe 3 people would pass on this buck.  I have only seen one bigger, but it was during elk season.  Another state not a chance, unless its like Arkansas where you can get like 5 tags.
