Getting loaded today.  Was planning on heading to Wyoming on Friday, but going to hit the WA eastside opener first.  Head for WY middle of the week to finish elk season.  Save travels and good luck to everyone.

Gawd I can hardly wait. Mountain mulies are the only thing on my mind right now. I seriously can't go five seconds without having an image of that dark horned deep tined buck in my head. It is too bad though because this week is going to drag on and seem like the longest week of our lives and then for nine days, starting Saturday, everything will just seem to be a blur it will go by so quick. Good luck to you all! Hope to see some pictures from you adventures!

Friday can't come soon enough! I hate how long the last few days before you leave take. Got most of my gear out on the table. Gonna pack everything tomorrow. Still got to buy a few more groceries and some beer but that is about it.

I have started to see good numbers out there over the last week. Are you staying east of the creek with them and on the north side of the road?  I see the camp there every year. If so I will try to stop in and see you.

It's nice to know I'm not the only one driving my wife nuts right now. You guys aren't driving her nuts you've got your own wifes to do that to but mine gets to deal with my boys also.  You guys also start scanning the trees everytime you drive downt he freeway in open areas??? My youngest boy, 10, gets to shoot this year and I practically have to pull him away from the gear every night to go to bed.  Do we need this or this or this or this :>).  I just hope he comes close to his older brothers 1st deer 2 years ago when he just turned 11.  It's going to be a competition for the rest of their lifes.  Can you think of better family competitions.  Anyway Good Luck to all, Keep Your Powder Dry and everyone Be SAFE.  This photo is my Oldest Boy with his 1st scored a 134 7/8.
I predict future happiness for Americans if they can prevent the government from wasting the labors of the people under the pretense of taking care of them.

Teanaway was WAY warm, Deer in hiding. not many Bucks seen around the camps at all. in the two weeks i was there i seen 6-7 bucks on trucks. one small young bear and most of the bucks were taken by people LOOKING FOR FIREWOOD, not actually hunting.

Was a fun time anyways, found out my body doesnt hurt that much from all the hiking in the steep ravines and open draws.
Good times once i got used to the drunk people at the campground.
