Hair Leg Trip-Lower Granite
« on: October 03, 2010, 07:09:35 PM »
Well a couple guys from work camped out at lower granite for a few days.  Took 45 minutes longer to get out of town because of construction, got to the campground and a burn ban was in effect(too bad we loaded a truck full).  93 degrees and no wind so no fire "needed".   Lots and lots of spendy jet boats with money but no manners and 3 days later.....no fish.  Saw 3 steelhead caught at night, 2 natives for sure.  Used what everybody else was using apparently.  Fishing was bad but beer was cold and we had a great time none the less.  4,000-7,000 through the ladder a day but none are eating hotdogs.

Some friends were down at Little Goose, not sure how they did though.

yeah, water temp didn't budge at 63 for 3 days.  Figured it was too warm but catches at the confluence have been had so we gave it a try.
