50bmg.  When you absolutely have to reach out and touch someone!
The only difference between a butt kisser and a brown noser is depth perception.

I'll say a 9.3mm anything is pretty high on my list. Next up would be a 505 Gibbs.

I might actually cave in and get the Gibbs before the 9.3.

well I saw several mentioned that really appeal to me, I would love a blr in any caliber, I also think the 25-06 is cool as hell and WAY under appreciated, marlin lever guns are high amongst my want but dont need group particularly a guide gun in 45-70 or a 1894 in .357mag. But the end all gun that I am currently jonesing for is way out there in terms of main stream thinking....I really want to build a contender carbine in 30-30 a.i. w/ a 23" barrel I figure I can get about 2500 fps w/ a 150 grain bullet. I can shoot CHEAP factory ammo, or handload premium bullets for big game. w/ a leupold VXI 2x7 i guess it would wiegh in around 6 lbs. this to my way of thinking would be a great little rifle for bummin around in the woods in the fall, litle enough to not be a burden but w/ enough thump to cleanly take a bear or to back someone up on a deer. Ive given this considerable thought and just may sell my encore to fund this cuurent bout of craziness.

A 375 Ruger is on my short list.  Besides...  if you get any Ruger Hawkeye rifle by the end of the year, you get a spiffy Carhartt coat.  Who doesn't need a new coat?  I really love the 375 H&H, but my choices are limited unless I want to get another one built.  Love the 1895 Marlin, had one in 45/70 that was customized to the hilt.  It along with a bunch of others had to be sold a few years ago to help pay my sister's medical bills (leukemia, no health ins).  I WILL have another 45/70 in the future.  Some form of varmint gun is on the short short list.  I'm ready to order it, just need to decide on the caliber.  It will be the Remington SPS LH heavy barrel model.  Now it's time to stir the "which scope" pot.
Nothing witty here.... move along.
