there is no late muzzle hunt in 388 or 578 for deer. they are not in the regs and have been that way for awhile now. if they are not in the regs then there is not a hunt.

Hey! I'm not a complete idiot I have parts missing. Though sometimes I wonder.

yeah i looked there is no general muzzle hunt for 578 but there is a special permit you can draw for that unit. 388 has no muzzle seasons general or special.

578 is permit only for deer starts dec. 1st, my partener and I are heading out the 1st. Scouted 2 weeks ago during the modern elk only saw a few does, have never hunted there before, plan on hunting around glenwood and the timber land off Fisher hill rd. We plan on getting behind the gates. Hopefully this snow and cold weather will get them moving. Anybody have any advice for that area, or past hunting experience? Good luck to all during the late season.

I've heard of some pigs being killed in there in the past when it was a general late area for muzzy...never seen any pictures to verify it.
