Absolutely, the hunt can be as hard or easy as you want it to be. There is plenty of walk-in-only and public land. You will also see lots of animals, nothing I've ever experienced before. If you want to go on the cheap just apply for doe/fawn tags, you can get them for under $50, most years you can get two, and often times up to four.

We had a great time on this hunt, cant wait to do it again. I was hoping to use a couple of short range weapons on this hunt, but it didn't work out that way and I ended up using my .260 on all three animals. I ended up using 4 shots this trip. I was hoping for a couple hundred including the praire dogs.

I can also recommend Casper Community Hospital, they were all very friendly. It's amazing how fast a fun hunt can turn real serious. while removing the legs off of my last doe. my knife slipped on bone and turned itself on my wrist. Luckily nothing serious was cut and after 8 stitches I'll be fine.

When that heals, I'd go get a tattoo where the stitches were......kinda crazy, but that's me. Just think of the stories !!!!!! 8)
I couldn't care less about what anybody says..............
