We only brought 1 rifle she's deer hunting but we both have bear tags we have a 243wssm a little light for bear so she gives me the rifle we Watch the bear for about 5 min when I take the first shot it smacks the bear starts to move faster I proceed the shoot 2 more times all 3 shots connected. Yes I am having a rug made by Michelle. The coat was really thick she had over 2" of fat all over her she is about 6 years old.
This is my first bear.

That thing had a super nice coat.  I could not believe the fat that she had on her when we skinned her out.
