Two day season this year
« on: October 22, 2010, 05:36:57 PM »
Spent Saturday looking for the perfect spot. Found the spot, came back Sunday morning, 8am deer season over with a 150 yard shot across a small tangled clearcut. 10am back at camp. Here's my little blacktail. Well, there's still grouse until the elk opener.

With the Port Blakely road closures my "spot" has been put out of my range. I'll have to check out one of my alternate spots. I think this elk season is going to be in heavy timber.
