My son Christian shot his first buck with one shot at 160yrds rite through the heart we watched it fall in 10yrds it was a great day for the both of us  :IBCOOL:

Man, that looks JUST like the one I passed on opening day in Mazama...was it around there?! Congrats on his first buck, I am sure he is very thrilled on a very fine buck!

PS...the only reason I passed was I had packed in, stayed the night and it was the first buck/deer I saw that morning, I was expecting to see something a bit bigger...but got skunked. Never pass on the first day, what you would shoot on the last I guess!

Again, congrats to your boy, he put a fine shot on it.

No not around mazama but up north around Kettle Falls went up there for the youth any dear hunt and only could find mulies this was the second legal buck I put him on the other was alot bigger but as you can see it was really brushy and what I could see he couldn't

right on. I wasnt trying to take away anything from the buck...I remember my first buck..a spike, I couldnt help but keep looking at it in the bronco on the way home....Awesome memory for you both!
