well i screwed up when buying my tag. i brain farted and bought a west side tag when i planned on hunting cle ellum. so we have decided to hunt the oly pen. i am open to anywherem we are hunting late archery. any help would be great.

i plan on scouting this weekend btw. please please please help me out. you guys know im not asking for honey holes. just areas. i was thinking around aberdeen, but like i said before i am open to anything.

Early archery season has already come and gone, so that would not be an option.

nope because early archery already happened. i called fish and game. its retarded they way it works. no tag has been filled so i dont understand the problem with switching

It's not "retarded." It wouldn't be fair for you to have had the option of hunting early archery season on the westside, and then when not successful in filling your tag, exchanging it for a eastside tag because you wanted to hunt the late season over there, would it? How does the WDFW know you haven't already hunted with that tag?

dont be too bummed, i accidentaly got a west tag in 2005.... always hunt east side.  resulted in the only elk i ever shot, a nice 4x5 near Packwood.  Good luck
