Daughters first deer
« on: October 29, 2010, 07:23:58 PM »

I am very proud of her. She started hunting when she was 13 and now is 17 and she finally did it. She did not go hunting the first weekend cause she thought that boys and the homecoming dance was more important then hunting. I think she knows better now :).
First day goes out and right around 8:00 in the moring she spots them before me. She tells me where they are at picks out the one she wanted and well steak is on the table the next time Dad as them for his week. Very good year so far I got a 2 point the first weekend and she got hers the second now I just have to get moms her deer. I will post pics of mine later.

Well that is what I asked. She will get teased about that for along time. I keep telling her she shot the face off.

good eatin right there, congrats to the hunter. and come on you can hunt and still go to homecomeing, my girfriend and i did it my senior year, we hunted the morning then went to the dance, then got up the next morning and went hunting again. it was pretty funny, she still had her hair all fancy the next day while hunting.

and hey bullrider, your signature line is wrong

Yes she could still go hunting the next day she did the year before. I told her that she should go cause those are memories that she won't get back and hunting with dad will always be there for years to come. I was teasing her about the dance and the boys are more important and she just about slapped me. Hunting is in her blood and she will never stop :IBCOOL:.
