Boy thats the truth, I try not to go Costco to often or I end up with a big chunk out of the monthly check.  Have to make a list and check it twice only buy what will last a long time.

I am glad some have good walmart experiences most people I know dont...i dont like the store and its just my opinion I think they suck..feel the same about cabelas to be honest..i prefer old fashioned small businesses ..thats my preference... but not the american way of bigger more cheaper and faster

Amen to that!  I do live research at Cabelas, then go home and order it on Amazon for a fraction.  I too prefer "ma-pa" type stores, but they are few and far between, especially here in the concrete jungle.  That place in Longview (Bob's I believe) is pretty cool.

Had to fix my post.My wife would shoot me if I spent that much$

What I was referring to was SpecialT saving $200 on ammo and standing in line for 1/2 an hour.If my fuzzy math is right thats the equivelent of saving/making $400 an hour.

I try to avoid Cabelas, but I have no issue with Walmart.

Cruised through sporting goods today and looked.  mdl 770 in 270 for $300 a mdl 700 in 270 for $400 both w/ bushnell scopes and synthetic stocks.
