pure skunk essence ?????

Ok pros..I got the essence and want to mix it with something for this rainy weather for a cover scent or curiosity..Any tips???I should make a youtube clip,I gag at the smell this will be an experience foresure

Rasbo. I have always wondered about skunk being used as a cover scent. Since the skunk usually only sprays when threatened is it reasonable to assume that this scent would send an alarm to other animals in the area. I have seen people use it before as a cover and always wondered if they were spooking or at least alerting other animals to a possible threat. Even if it is only to peak their interest they might be more alert than if you were scent free (I know it's hypothetical) Just curious to your thoughts on this.

it works well for cover and curiosity..many trappers use it,In fact its found that bears prefer that smell over anise,now thats weird..I just need no how to mix it right..Glad ya found the buttons

Maybe mix with glycerin or some sort of oil?

Skunk is often used in "cold weather" lure as a Long call type additive.......Do you have Pure?`   or the stuff from moccasin joe?/the sporting goods store?....

yes its pure 2oz from Marty in wyoming..he gathers it himself,in fact hes selling it for 8 bucks an ounce plus shipping now..Dave Im just wanting to use half of it for call only,I was wondering if vasoline would be good to mix it with and then smear a little about 3 or 4 foot high to draw them to the cage where my bait is

Go easy on the stuff, like a drop to a gallon. You can always add more later. You can never remove it.
I personally don't like the stuff unless you like to catch skunks. It'll draw them in. I don't think we have cold enough weather on the westside to need it.

yes I have bob pee,I squirt a line from the trap out..the traps have been out since monday.They are on know bob trails..This stuff is straight from the sac no additives...
