:chuckle: that's funny! i have the first 2 groups i have shot out of that gun. the first 2 ;) both are well under 1/2 at 100 yards. it is one of the best shooting guns i have ever shot. o and its dpms that build the r-25 for Remington and the r-15 is built by bushmaster ;) all 3 are sister companies :hello: and price them against other 308/ar-10 and they are not that much ;)

Sorry I know what it costs to build vs buy and there is no excuse for that horrific trigger at that price point.
The reason there are so many Ruger upgrades is because they're necessary.

Don't you live in eastern Wa? If not you're on!

If we lived closer I would take you up on that! I'm always interested in shooting something new, I would be happy to let you try my AR, I put a RRA NM fcg in it and it really made that rifle easy to shoot

BTW, if you ARE in eastern Wa, I would still like to shoot yours...Just show me some rockchucks  :P

live in goldendale wa, so about as south as you can get in washington but still on the east side. :IBCOOL:

the r-25 is a bit heavy for sure but it i can't pack a 10lb rifle, at 6'1 and 260lbs i should not be hunting :chuckle: my sako i hunt with weighs more and then some. :yike: weight does not bother me much. i also pack a 45lb rifle from time to time so it makes the 10lb'er feel pretty light ;) :chuckle:

I would stick to the ar15 over the ar10 its a lot cheaper to play with a ar15. Both AR's can shoot under moa and are hard to hurt.

my cuzz got the 308win and i am loading almost the same loads for his gun. and it shoots them very well 2.

i think i'm going to get me one of those R25's in 7mm08. then I'll get a DPMS in 338 Federal.  The wife will probably approve the purchase when pigs fly.

It sounds like it's time to get a new gun.
