Blacktail by the Road...typical!
« on: November 06, 2010, 06:55:10 PM »
I have had this video and pics for a few years.  This buck lived in Lacey...I bet he was killed by a car by now.  Still nice to see big blacktails.

Was that taken in the valley off Carpenter Rd N. of Britton Pkwy? Area looks familiar and so does the Buck, If its the same one I saw last year he was a brute, he was walking the woodline @ the round a bout going into Cabelas.

My Father-in-law lives near there, and has almost hit a large 4X4 (5X5 counting eye guards) twice now in his driveway last week., wonder if it is the same one ?  :dunno:
Their house is on other side of that creek/valley.

There are a few nice bucks in that area, but the 4X4 sounds like the same one, i see him around there once in a while. However haven't seen him this fall yet.  :dunno:

I know I always bring my bow with me when I go over for Thansgiving and Christmas, just in case...
Passed on a few does over the years, as it just doesnt feel right shooting a deer in someones backyard,
but they do own 2.5 acres, with at least 20 across the driveway from them, more if you follow creek....

Yeah, thats gotta be tempting. I work up there, and there are many occasions that I wish I could bring my bow to work. Oh well, they're sure nice to look at anyway.
