Some huge local flocks around right now.  Looked out and saw this flock in the road yesterday!

Cool! Now that Elk season is over, I want to get after some upland birds!
I felt like a one legged cat trying to bury a terd on a frozen pond!

if they were in a legal to hunt area ....would you flock shoot the first shot...you know just to get them in the air to shoot?....

NO!!!..."Ground Sluicing", "Tabling" is considered unethical, unsportman-like and maybe illegal except to recover a cripple (after a wingshot attempt).

I do not think that it is ever "illegal" to shoot a bird on the ground.

Not illegal, with a flock like that I would let em fly, still knock down quite a few with 2 or 3 shots.
