As far as most valuable?  Noveske N4 or Springfield M1A.

Best practical hunting rifle would be a Ruger No. 1 in .338 Win.

My favorite rifle browning a-bolt in the 270 shooting 130gr. core lokt bullets never had a problem with this weapon.absolute nail driver.tried more expensive bullets but  she just loves them core lokt.

257 Roberts and 30-06 both are Ruger RL M77's.  Light and short. Great shooting guns.
