Disgusted
« on: November 09, 2010, 04:23:15 PM »
With my Wildview. I can't download pictures from it any more. My computer does not recognize the format, I've never had this issue before with this camera. I used to be able just to plug it in and prompt the automatic dowload, no software required for this unit :dunno:.

I just started having that same problem with my Moultrie D-40.  After a couple of flawless years it finally decided to act all funny just as I sweetened up my spot by the back fence line.  I know that I should have had tons of deer photos because thay have been in my yard at all times of the day and night and they pretty much have to come in right by my camera.  After a 2 week soak during some heavy rutting all I got was one picture of a raccoon and a handful of "cannot read, unrecognized format".  :bash: :bash:  I'll take it in, clean it up and try again but I have the feeling that I shouldn't have passed on the infrared cam that Cabela's had on sale a month or so ago.   :dunno:

I've had the same issue's, I set mine out for 3 days in a spot I usually average a dozen pics a day, nothing. When I waved in front of it, nothing happened, it's like the innards took a *censored*e. Can't expect much from Wildview I guess. :chuckle:

Could it be a problem with the memory card? At least in the Moultrie- I don't know anything about the Wildviews.

I threw in a new card and a fresh set of batteries yesterday.  I'll pull it tomorrown and see.  There were several deer including a little buck right in front of it for at least 20 minutes today.  I better have some pics or I'm gonna round file it!

Mine is definitely not a memory card issue, I use the same card all the time on my Nikon.

Had that same issue with my wildview.  The sd card was white and a 4 gig but the computer wouldn't recongnize it.  Put a different card in and it worked flawlessly.  That card would store pics but I couldn't even view them on my camera.
