Cinebar Elk Info
« on: November 13, 2010, 10:11:12 AM »
Ok guys Im new to the site but have been browsing through for a couple months now.

I have a great spot 150+/- acres in Cinebar that borders a weyerhaeuser tree farm. I spent a day scouting the area right before early season and only found a solo elk track that was probably a week old. I walked from 8 am to 6pm and covered some serious ground going between the private property i haver permission on and the weyerhaeuser property.

Im just wondering who has hunted that area and if its a complete waste of time for late season or if local herds migrate into around cinebar during late season. Any info would be greatly appreciated.

Cheers,
Sliverslinger

Theres not much for elk out there.  There is one local heard that will show up in one of the field.  Its better for deer.

I live out that way and the elk are few and far between.  I probably would not waste my time for elk, decent deer hunting though.
