I hunted around Central Ferry again this year and did ok, but haven't been able to bring myself to make the exta 20 mi. trip to Pomeroy.  I'll have to check it out.  Next year I'm going to bring a deer rifle too.

20min that aint bad at all its like 3.5hrs from my place :chuckle:

There are no birds left.  They all flew South for the winter.  Oh and there are no elk in the Blues.

dang that is why we didn't see any :bash: :chuckle: never been in the area before, that wide open rolling hills is pretty cool. then you hit the bottoms and see whitetail/mule deer/turkeys and of course the upland birds :chuckle:
