Zebra Mussels

Just got off the phone with a buddy in Montana. We were talking fishing & he mentioned that there is a BIG possibility there are zebra mussels in Flathead Lake. He said there needs to be some physical evidence because so far all there is to go on are some free swimming life forms but no mussel colonies as of yet.
I hope they are wrong!

No good!!! I fished flathead once. My grandfather and I used an "outfitter". It was a joke. Electronic reels, wire main line and the dude wouldn't let us touch the reels! BIG, beautiful lake though, be a shame to have a parasite like that in there.
