Big thanks to Blackbart!!!!!
« on: November 21, 2010, 05:51:55 PM »
Well Saturday 2 of our buddies, Blackbart, and I decided that we'd go give the geese a shot. So we went out Friday evening and scouted some fields we have access to. After scouting for a bit we found a field that had a few thousand bird in it, and we developed a game plan for the morning. 4:30 the alarm clock started me off. We all meet up at the field and got to work as quick as we could without killing our selfs. 3 dozen GHG, 2 dozen HC, 3 dozen DSD's later and a little brushing up we were ready.
The day started out with a single bang and a teal dropped from the sky. We were all saying "cool" at least we didn't get skunked. Little did we know we were about to have the most amazing hunt of our life's. Landing flocks of 500+ birds just doesn't get old! :chuckle: Here's some pics of the day. hope ya'll enjoy!!   ;)

Looks like the hunting we used to have in our fields in SW Washington.  Good times.  Was this down in Oregon again?

That was one great weekend. Just landing those big groups was a blast, there were times I was chuckling to myself in the blind as they were bombing in.
