I hunted Stillwater the last 2 days........I do not believe there have been any releases since Wednesday night. Talked with a Ranger on the way out who was checking limits and licences and he said he doubted they would be releasing any more.

Did manage to get a few Roosters today!!! Almost a double. The pup flushed them about 30 seconds apart.

Your dog looks like my dog and your gun looks like my gun. We are hunting Twinzees. I have an 8 month old liver/white springer and 12 guage Browning Cynergy. Not sure what kind yours is, but it looked similar.

Did anyone see the other piece of paper posted over the projected release numbers at the little information posts? what did those mean? Did that mean that they only released approx. 10% of the birds they said they were going to release? i wonder if that means we get back 90 percent of our west side pheasant license money?

Our pups are close. Mine is 16 months old. That is a Browning Citori 625 Field. 12ga. 28" barrel.
