Chinook Pass Closes Today
« on: November 16, 2010, 12:11:59 PM »
Well, for those that hunt the east side and take 410 to get over it looks like they are closing it today. This is not unusual but sometimes we are lucky enough to get over 410 instead of having to drive all the way around for the opener. No luck this year. :bash:

Same here, like Chinook a lot better

Driving Chinook gives me the feeling of hunting.  Those twists, turns, and steep walls get ya in the mood way more than the 4 lane interstate!!

Anyone know if Skate Creek Road is still open? Hate to go all the way through Morton.

I usually take Skate Cr Rd to save time but with the bad weather and all the curves I think I'm just going to go threw Morton.

I think I'll just go I-90, then head towards Yakima, fill up in Naches, and hunt the Little Naches and the Nile.
