Montana was good to us but cold
« on: November 27, 2010, 10:31:51 AM »
We had a great Montana trip but really cold like 18 below. Did a good deed and really made some friends. A lady was stuck in her driveway and was walking in the snow and we stopped to help and wound up getting hunting access to two huge ranches . We got some nice deer and made some new friends who just love fish of witch we had a cooler full of. Here are a couple of the 7 deer we got in Mt.

Good for you on the hunt, those are some fine deer.  You know, deer or not, being able to hunt the property or not, it's still pretty gratifying to be able to help somebody out.  Good on ya....

Nice!  I miss Montana.   :'(
By my honorable conduct as a hunter let me give a good example and teach new hunters principles of honor, so that each new generation can show respect for their god, other hunters and the animals, and enjoy the dignity of the hunt.

Very cool pics Del.  It looks like your hunting party hit the buck bananza in Mt.  Way cool when a good deed gets rewarded when not expecting anything in return.  That's what you get for being a good guy.  Congrats on the bucks and new friends.   :)

Its so cold over there many people leave the hide on so the meat stays clean and doesn't freezer burn until they can hang it inside a barn or cut it up and get in a cooler which may be a couple days.   Those minus zero temps with the wind are brutal.
