How's the squid jigging?

Haven't heard anything recently about how the squid jigging is right now. I was thinking about heading down to one of my favorite piers with a pint of Pendelton and a designated driver and giving it a try.
 I didn't see the previous post on this subject. Sorry bout that.

its starting to pick up a little bit. my buddies have been getting 2-3 lbs a night down at des moines. a few winter squid mixed in, but most all are the 4-5" tiny guys.
