Good Bow Strings?
« on: December 03, 2010, 09:22:17 AM »
I have a newer bow with what seems a relatively cheap, stock string that seems to be fraying quickly, any suggestions as to a good replacement string?

G-strings from XXX. Great strings, I replaced one on my 09 bow and it worked awesome. Decided I had to have a Maxxis 35 so I sold the Katera to a friend. He has shot it a TON and no creep or significant sign of wear. I will be replacing mine after archery seezen closes.  8)

Wax tends to help 2...
In archery we have something like the way of the superior man. When the archer misses the center of the target, he turns round and seeks for the cause of his failure in himself.

Went through 2 fuse strings in short order. They are garbage. Put a winners choice on my maxxis and its ok but it seems to fray even with regular waxing. Ordered a proline string for my 82nd on black friday but It hasn't come yet but I have heard nothing but great things about them. Well see...
