Here are a few different planes we saw while fishing the Nushagak in Alaska this summer.
The first few pics are the Grummond Goose that we flew in on. I believe it was built in the early 1940's. the others are planes we saw while fishing. The plane with Tikchik on the side we actually caught fish under. You can see the pole tip on the left side of the picture.

Havilland Otter

I am on a two day trip in Alaska. This is the plane that I am riding in over to Metlakatla.

I flew on a 737 into Prince George BC one time. I think they cut a bush pilot loose with a jumbo jet. LOL. This guy side slipped it just above a ridge all the way down into the hole that Price George sits in. Kicked it sideways and touched down like it was nothing.  8)

Nice shot. I heard that Alaska has dropped Horizon. What happens to this plane do they just repaint or bone yard it?

I thought this helicopter was gonna crash.  It was much lower and flying sideways over my house before i got the camera out.  The whole house was shaking.  It seemed much closer than the video shows.  I could see the pilot through the window.
