Need some clarification

So reading through the regs and again I am confused over the wording.  When I bought my license I purchased the state migratory bird validation and the federal bird stamp and was told that was all I needed for waterfowl by the Cabela's license sales rep.  But reading through the regs it mentions a state stamp and looked on the DFW online license sales and couldn't find a state bird stamp.  So am I good to hunt or do I need to seek out the state bird stamp?

"stamp" is slang for  the new "validation" term

as long as you have your small game license... your state migratory bird, which is $10 or $15 can't remember, and you federal duck stamp that is all you need! those are the 3!!

Thanks for the fast reply, I have the small game, state validation and the federal stamp, just got confused with the wording and checking out on a guided hunt where they put something about a state migratory bird stamp.  Well good to know that I am good to hunt.

The migratory bird validation took the place of the stamp. I guess they're trying to save money by not having to produce a stamp. Good thinking really.
