Killed Elliot and his brother in 2010
« on: December 06, 2010, 06:02:00 PM »
I've had some fantastic stalks and some very close encounters this year.  Took a lot of pictures, passed on some smaller bucks but......damn, season close was knocking on the door.  Yesterday I was already considering killing a doe as I spent most of the day hunting and couldn't find a legal buck.  I went out this morning and found the guy I've been after this entire late season.  The ground was very noisy and the best I could do was 80-130 yards on multiple stalks.  I gave up on him and ran across this buck.  Another gene pool removal buck.  I'll repost a pic of my wifes from this year.

I LOVE red snow

As he lay (how bout that neck Michelle?)

on his right side he has a spike and 2 small points, one goes straight down.  He looks real small bodied in this pic

one last pic of my wifes buck

We must reject the idea that every time a law's broken, society is guilty rather than the lawbreaker. It is time to restore the American precept that each individual is accountable for his actions.

Very nice, now you have a matching set, too bad both spikes are on the same side or you could have made one normal rack!  Congrats on a successful season.  He'll eat better than my tag soup!

Before you criticize someone, you should walk a mile in their shoes.  That way, when you criticize them, you're a mile away and you have their shoes.
