Up here there was wet heavy snow that the coyotes had to plow thru. As soon as they can walk on top of the snow they will be out and about more. Maybe this weekend.

Somethings up. I usually see 3-5 per night and I've only seen 1 in the last two weeks...

Around my area, you can here them howl between 10pm and 4am.  Once it starts getting light, they are dead quiet.  Hope to get out Saturday and convince one or two to come say hi and quit being so snobish.

So went out today and saw nothing. No new tracks anywhere to be found and nothing came to my called but a bunch of birds.

Looks like they are pairing up . I went to a ranch today and did a lot of walking and driving the roads on virgin snow .
The tracks i did see indicated more doubles traveling then singles .
Time to get out the howlers.
The tracks I saw indicated they are traveling a lot on the night shift as most tracks i cut were hours old .
I called a few stands and saw nothing , not even a Magpie .
Love many
Trust few

The one I tried to get today was howling his head off right at daylight and he was all alone.  I think he was looking for a buddy.

I normally hear them frequently at my place. I haven't heard them lately, but I know they are still coming in. I lose about one cat per week. :o

Hate to say it but if our cats were normal and scared of Dogs they wouldn't be such an easy meal  :twocents::hello: welcome to the site

Lose 1 cat a week? I wondered who was feeding them.
