Deer Hunt Recommendations Wetside
« on: December 23, 2010, 10:23:57 AM »
Deer Hunt Recommendations Wetside: Can anyone recommend any good deer hunting spots on the wetside? Skookumchuck, Puyallup, Mossyrock, Deschutes? Any advise would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks :)

The deer really need to be thinned out on Orcas Island. (don't be fooled, there are some big bucks there.) But you need to get local permission.

Other than that.. Capitol peak has some bruisers.

You're gonna have to find a spot...   And scout.

No westside deer is going to be easy, all the areas you mentioned hold good populations of blacktail.  Get out and scout, scout, scout.

Usually by now someone would have suggested to look in the woods.   :chuckle: :chuckle:

Early buck season, Buckhorn Wilderness.
Nature. It's cheaper than therapy.
