Christmas gift proven good!
« on: January 04, 2011, 10:53:07 PM »
I received a DPMS AR for x mas and had been out alot hunting trying to have it earn it's keep (223) (normally a 204) and Tonight it earned it's keep! With two dogs in one hour! Here is the proud moment with the first dog I had to retreive off a frozen lagoon of Cow shat lets say! I was so excited to get this dog and not let their not be proof I actually fell in up to my knee with one leg (not cool) upon retrieving! The new yote gun has earned his stripe and keep!

I didn't get one!  Dang! Sweet!

Nice that you got to prove its worth very soon after Christmas.

I too am wondering about how that laser gentics is working for you. I have been considering one for a while.

Laser gentics is awesome! As far as the scope and vision it all works very well once adjusted. I would however state you should look seriously into the subzero, because the normal ND-3 does not like cold weather at all. I am wraping it in hand warmers tonight again along with a wool sock to keep it going tonight. If you can cah out the cost go for the ND-3X50 SUBZERO!!! Quite a fair amount of money but way brighter and good to -0 degres!

I have DPMS Lo-Pro (heavy barreled varminter/bench gun) and "M-4" (tactical) AR's.  Both shoot great, especially the Lo-Pro... with the Timney Trigger, extended free-float handguard, and good ammo, it will easily shoot .25 moa.
