Once in a liftetime today UPDATE
« on: January 06, 2011, 01:37:59 PM »
Went out to check a few cat traps and had 3 I needed to get remade as they had alot of snow blowed in on them and the wind was blowing 50-60 mph so I wanted to get them remade. Well I started to come up over the hill and seen a really big cat run off and up the hill, Got over the hill and had a nice big female in the only trap that was still set as the other 2 I had set off when clearing the snow last time. Have never had this happen or have heard of anyone having a cat caught and having another one run off. These 3 traps had been there for 34 days and this is the first cat. Now the big ledge behind the cat I have caught two toms.

Well I went and looked at the traps again today and had another big female so I don't think I got the cat I seen yesterday.

moles don't count  :chuckle: :chuckle:
We must reject the idea that every time a law's broken, society is guilty rather than the lawbreaker. It is time to restore the American precept that each individual is accountable for his actions.

Bet you stand a good chance of snagging the one that got away. A few years ago in OR I came up on a set and a big cat took off as I came in sight. I was cursing my luck until I got to the set and saw I had a goodsized female in the trap. Reset and had a big tom the next morning.
