January WWPHA meeting
« on: January 06, 2011, 09:01:51 PM »
Just a quick reminder, do not forget the meeting this Saturday the 8th.  The meeting is in the rooms upstairs to the right of the deli.  If you ask at the door, they might not know (they did not for Rainshadow's) so please head straight upstairs.   Starts at 12:00 with a small amount of Association business followed by Jerry doing the FoxPro presentation.  We have been given both rooms combined but seating will still be limited as Cabela's has a seating capacity (60 so we may be in trouble) so arriving early might be a plus..  Once the meeting starts, we will be closing the doors to minimize noise and to keep Jerry's howling from scaring folks off.  We will be having door prizes at this session so see me for a ticket.

Hope to see every one there....

:)Jerry did a great job of explaining the basics of calling wily coyote. He was entertaining and got quite a few laughs. there was good attendence I would guess 40-50 folks, with good questions.( I did not count them) Jerry was not afraid to express his opinion :chuckle: but being a eastern washington cowboy type, what would you expect??
Thanks Jerry, and thanks to WWPHA!

I didn't realize there were so many there from Hunt WA. I wish I could have met the rest of you. I met Bofire, Big 10ga, and obviously btlsoom and Jerry.  I am happy that I made it and feel very fortunate to have been there. I kept my ears perked and my eyes open. Jerry hit a few points that really spoke loud and clear that I've been doing some things wrong. The audience affirmed what he was saying by nodding their heads adding insult to injure. It was a great time and I am glad I made it.

Thank you WWPHA for making this possible.
Thank you Jerry for sharing with us the things that have taken you years to learn.
And a huge thank you to my wife for putting up with the kids and I, although the stop at the outlet stores on the way home may have proved she had ulterior motives.lol

I liked the presentation also. I would have liked to stay around and meet people but I brought a couple buddies that wanted to get going so we headed out shortly after. Advanced tactics next time maybe?

First of all i would like to thank Randy and WWPHA for the invitation and time spent setting this up and his help with providing the things to do the seminar .

I have always enjoyed sharing what little i have learned over the years
I really enjoyed meeting new friends and seeing some of my OLD  :chuckle:friends as well .
When Randy and i talked about the seminar we agreed to keep the seminar focused on basic calling procedures , I had no idea i  would use up 2 hours of time during my seminar until my wife told me that i had . The time flew by .
I will make myself available at a later date to discuss more advanced methods of calling , there are so many diffrent subjects and techniques to be discussed it is very easy to turn a seminar into a long session .
.

I try to visit here as often as i can and ill be offering tips and answering question for anyone who would like or need some direction .
I would like to Thank  all of you who attended , I enjoyed the day and look forward to seeing you all again soon .
FoxPro made this seminar available and i would like to thank them for their support to not only the WWPHA but to the sport of calling predators .
FoxPro truly has a passion for promoting the sport of predator calling and have always strived to make information available to all that seek it .
Thank you again for the opportunity to meet and talk to all of you , You can visit the FoxPro forums and pick up a lot of helpfull information there .www.gofoxpro.com
The FoxPro Fast and Furious show is still airing on the Outdoor channel , be sure to watch the show for some great predator hunting and a diffrent approach to making a predator hunting show .
God Bless, and thank you for the kind words .  Jerry

I was in the area looking for an apartment for my son and couldn't miss the opportunity to attend. Jerry gave a great presentation and was very informative. (Almost too informative about a couple of things)  :chuckle: Just kidding. Got to meet and finally put some faces to some members. Thanks WWPHA for letting some currently non-members attend.

I just want to jump in here with the rest of you all and express my most gracious thanks to Jerry and the FoxPro Team for allowing this to happen.  I agree that Jerry did indeed put on a top notch presentation, it was easy flowing just like old friends talking.  I learned many things that usually I do not think about.  Thanks again Jerry.  Also, thank you FOxPro for sending the many hats and calls which we were allowed to give away as well.  Letting each participant leave with a reminder of FoxPro's support was a good thing.

I myself and as WWPHA can not thank Jerry and FOxPro enough.  I owe them one...
