7mm-08 shot great!
« on: January 16, 2011, 05:02:34 PM »
For once, the bore sighting really worked for me. First shot was a bit left. Made two total adjustments today and the 7mm-08 was laying them in pretty good! Last 3 of 4 were dang near touching in the home made bullseye, with one that went up and right. I am very impressed with this cartridge, rifle and scope. My wife shot it and did very well too. She was as excited as I. I loaded up some 140gr Nosler balistic tips to target shoot with. I am pretty sure I will be loading up some 140gr Accubonds for her hunting ammo. Did I mention we were happy!  :chuckle:
I felt like a one legged cat trying to bury a terd on a frozen pond!
