whidbey bowmens
« on: January 18, 2011, 03:59:56 PM »
went to the Whidbey Bowmens for the buckle shoot warm up, I don't write a lot of reviews, but when my brother and i showed up we were greeted with arms wide open, I'll write a review. the coarse was great and the 3-d targets were the best i've seen. the place was clean, we shot with the range master and a member, and both were very helpful to my little brother and I.I've shot at a bunch of places and this is by far the best. if your interested in archery or a pro this is the spot to shoot and learn.  :twocents:

Thanks!  We have a great course up here with almost all brand new Rinehart targets,  in about a month we will have 6 more new ones.  Glad you both had fun,  and I think you both even won some door prizes that Wilderness Acrhery and Riverside both donate to our shoots!  Come again, we have another shoot next month!

The clubs up i our neck of the woods try and work together... I'm glad you had a good time... That's what it is supposed to be all about!
In archery we have something like the way of the superior man. When the archer misses the center of the target, he turns round and seeks for the cause of his failure in himself.

T is right,  we have 3 great clubs up here,  and we all work together helping each other out.  The members at Silver Arrow will welcome you just like Whidbey, and Wilderness is the same.  Matter of fact a lot of the club board members shoot an indoor league together.. So please come on out and shoot at our shoots.  Wilderness is next weekend, and Silver Arrow is the following weekend,  which is also our 1st leg of the NW Triple Crown Buckle shoot.  THe Buckle is a 3 leg shoot,  first is at SIlver Arrow as I said above, 2nd at Whidbey 25/26 Feb and the final leg is at Wilderness in March.  We take the Sunday scores from all 3 legs and use the combined scores.  You don't need to be in the buckle shoot to attedn these shoots,  but why not try to win a nice Brass Buckle?   :P
