I saw the comp hunts and am interested. I have some friends that have planty of coyotes in their area that I can come out and hunt anytime. They also stated there is a cougar up there so i might start tracking him also. I came from Tn and hunting is so much different here very few coyotes many more deer.

coyote derby has been canceled..... Washington state game department, has made it clear that there is a rule in the books that forbids a derby with prizes and entry fee's.They visited the pawn shop and said they would fine everyone participating in the event...According to them we have to pay them for a permit that we may or may not get,and wait 30days.Sooo it is effective immediately CANCELLED.Sorry about the inconvenience. :bash:

You can have up to $2000 in prizes, but you can't charge an entry fee. If you start a local club, you could require entries to join your club in order to enter the contest.
