THE WAR ON HUNTING
« on: January 21, 2011, 03:31:24 PM »
Check out this thought provoking write-up by Willem P Frost regarding the effects of hunting, poaching, and animal rights in Africa. This insightful literary piece illistrates the very necessary role of hunting and why hunting is needed now and into the future. It only takes a few minutes to read and well worth the time.

WOW BP thanks for sharing... Awesome article. Despite my concern for it i thing hunting in many ways is headed for private property only... If the state is unwilling to mange and protect it, it is up to ranchers and farmers who can provide opportunity and protection. Makes me re think hunting in Africa, as in maybe i should some day... Still kinda blown away how powerful the article is... Maybe because it is far enough removed from our life its easier to see clearly.  :twocents:

Glad some of you have enjoyed that article. That should be required reading for employment in all state and federal wildlife agencies. :twocents:
