Eastern Washington is good too....
I don't like grouse so I'll share info. Togo Mtn is good, Boulder Pass, Empire Lake, Vulcan Mtn, 6120 Rd, Stormking, Bulldog Cabin Rd.
Eh, I always like to give tips on areas via a private email, to reduce the chance of destroying the area with too many hunters. In the open forum, general areas seem ok, but not too specific... Just my opinion...

We need the economy here unlike the west side. One dinner at the Riverside after a days worth of hunting and they would never hunt anywhere else. The grouse hunting isn't bad either. I am 300 miles away too, but wish I wasn't.

We are actually a little NW of you. Couple miles off the border. If you can get into the springs and ponds at the higher elevations, there are actually quite a few grouse out there. I spent the first four days of the season at the cabin last year and easily limited out all four days. Just like anything else, takes some work. if I didn't have so much fun out there I probably wouldn't drive out for a few birds either.
