We went over a New Year's. Saw the 3 1/2 legged cow. There was also a decent bull that looked like half of his front hoof was bent up towards his leg, he was hobbling around. That bull has made it to the feeding station for the last 3 years if it is the same one. I saw him this year there to.
Thanks Gasman. Were there any sheep in the sheep feeding area?

At the sheep feeding station there was a decent bull and a cow elk, the were the only elk there. There were quite a few sheep and rams. I got a pic similar to Boneaddicts of 3 sets of sheep nuts. Tonite if I remember I pull the pics off the camera and post them up.
Hay Gasman .do you know what time they feed the elk. me and my Jason are going over sunday.
Is this the same Elk??
nice photos.. thanks for sharing! I stopped in today to stretch my legs on my way to Chelan.. there were still a decent number of animals down but they're definitely filtering out! I keep wondering if that old whitened bull will make it back up the hill... anyone know which one I'm talking about? He hobbles or lays around... big old bases but regressing.. I think he's a 4 by 3 now. Any photos of him? I should have taken some this evening... might be his last season.
OK, I need some help, I'm confuse-ed . How many elk feeding stations are there on the East side and what would be the closest one to Leavenworth I've tried running through the WDFW site and can't make heads or tails from it. Oak Creek is the only real info I see, and that's down by Yak/ Nachese, , correct?
