Hornady FPB

NEW bullet has anyone tried these yet,they come in 300 and 350 gr. look really good.Customer told me about them I looked them up in Hornady's web page they sound good not priced to high at all.
I'm curious about copper fouling.

  but you never know. Your gun may like them. Doesn't hurt to test them out and see what you think of them. But like Masonctyhitman said. They are a pain in the a$$ to load.

Everything I've read says easy to load you just have to make sure their straight and there supposed to be very accurate,Oh well my SST's shoot really good !!!!!!!!! don't think I'll mess with it.

Sst shoot very well they just dont mushroom and i like performance so they went out the door

-the sst bullet from my elk this year looked like the front half of it got pinched with a set of pliers! Never seen a bullet do that before. Im going to start shooting the Barnes 300grn pure copper. See how my BH likes them, The sst's are going to be hard to beat on paper though!

The sst's are really hard to beat on paper. But the accuracy I get out of both my black diamond and my BH with the 290 grn tmz bullets is good enough for me. 2-3" groups at 100 yards. Your going to love the barnes bullets. Last year two guys in our group (masoncntyhitman, hilltophustler) both got deer with the sst's. Both deer traveled a little way's before they expired. This year masoncntyhitman and myself both got mule deer with the tmz bullets. Both of them dropped in their tracks.

how many shots are you guys getting with the saboted bullets before having to clean or having accuracy issues?

I can shoot 4 times and then have to run a patch down the barrel.

If I'm at the range I will usually run a patch with bore butter on it then a dry patch between every shot or two. If I'm hunting I won't run a patch at all between shots.
