I shot 752 pics yesterday. I came away with about 50 that are worth posting. I missed some really good ones. The flight ones, You see them circle, lock wings etc. They are MOTORING (you can usually tell they are incoming by listening to those in the water) Find them, get a focus, try not to move, stay on them without the focus picking up on some of your cover, and get the shot. I'm learning. I still missed some really close good ones. The geese were a real bonus yesterday.

The water shots are cool! I think you should think about maybe getting in the fields (corn) this next year just before dark or during a deep freeze there could be some awesome pics to be taken there! thousand ducks in a 20 acre area leap frogging toward you! I can see it now

The woodies are a lot of fun. They walk around alot in the sticks. Sneak in on land etc. Several times I spooked them and I didn't know they were there.

Yeah they are a vey photogenic bird. I just have a mental picture of about 500 green heads looking over broken corn stocks

makes me feel funny inside

would love to see it in print. Keep it up Bone your one of the reasons I keep sitting down when I walk threw the office
