Montana Harvest Distribution
« on: March 03, 2011, 10:33:56 AM »
Saw a lot of nice deer come out of Montana on here last year!

I was curious as to what types of land non-residents are harvesting deer on. Block management? National Forest? State DNR? Private?

I'll start - we harvested our does on private land and our bucks on National Forest

Not looking for spots or even regions just curious as to what strategies other hunters are using

We hunted over in Broadus, MT and we hunted both block managment land and public land. 1  was shot on public land and 2 were shot on block management land. All 3 were whitetail bucks. I think all the good bucks we saw were on the block management land.
